Matthew Fortuin won the junior men’s 1 500m race at the SA National Track Championships in the Bellville Velodrome yesterday.
Fortuin completed the race in 2:08.24, beating Mirsab Jordan and Linwell Jansen into second and third respectively.

Kelsey van Schoor won the junior women’s category in 2:21.58.
Linwill Jansen (11.84) and Van Schoor (14.32) were the respective winners in the match sprint.
