Steven van Heerden and Ilze Bole won the respective elite men’s and women’s points race at the SA National Track Championships in the Bellville Velodrome today.
Van Heerden, who targeted the race before the champs, won the race with 100 points, beating David Maree into second.

Bole won the women’s race with 35 points, finishing ahead of Claudia Gnudi.
Jean Spies (1:04.18) and Charlene du Preez (36.26) were the respective winners in the time-trial.
