The UCI-graded Attakwas Extreme MTB Challenge took place in the Western Cape yesterday.
The 121km race started in Oudtshoorn and finished at the Great Brak River, making it one of the longer annual marathon events in South Africa.
PYGA Euro Steel’s Matthys Beukes defended his title, while Yolande de Villiers won the women’s race in exhilarating fashion.
