Kent Main won the elite men’s individual time-trial at the Gauteng Road Champs in Pretoria yesterday.
Main, who recently joined the TEG Procycling Continental team, completed the 52km route in 1:08:05. Orion Craigue came second and Alwyn Steenkamp third.

Nicola Biani won the elite women’s 26km TT in 41:47, finishing faster than Suzan Cronje and Michelle Benson.
Jason Oosthuizen won the men’s under-23 category, while Damon Fouchee took the spoils in the junior men’s version.
