Germany’s André Greipel, of Arkéa–Samsic, won stage six of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo in Oyem today.
Greipel completed the 110km stage, which started in Bitam, in a time of 2:30:54.

“This is a great satisfaction for me, because winning at the beginning of the season so quickly allows you to gain confidence.
“I thank all my teammates who have given everything for me since the beginning of the week,” he said.
Algerie’s Youcef Reguigui placed second, with Vital Concept-B&B Hotel’s Lorrenzo Manzin third.
Rohan du Plooy was the first South African to finish after placing 15th.
Direct Energie’s Niccolo Bonifazio is first overall, with Manzin second and today’s stage winner third.
