South Africa’s Ashleigh Moolman Pasio failed to start stage three of the Women’s Tour Down Under in Nairne, Australia, today.
The CCC-LIV rider, who was seventh overall after stage two yesterday, could not race due to illness.
The 104.5km third stage, which finished in Stirling, was won by Australian Grace Brown (Mitchelton Scott) in 3:01:07.
America’s Ruth Winder (Trek-Segafredo) came in two seconds later, followed by Australia’s Rachel Neylan (Team UniSA-Australia).
Australian Amanda Spratt (Mitchelton Scott) continues to lead the overall standings in 9:24:48.
Fellow countrywoman and teammate Lucy Kennedy lies second and 49 seconds later. Third and 55 seconds behind the leader is American Krista Doebel-Hickok (Rally UHC Cycling).
