Jason Peach and Shale Biggs won the respective men’s and women’s 55km race at the Tomato Trot & Cycle in Brackfontein, Eastern Cape, today.
Peach completed the race in 2:20:32, beating Michael Pedersen-Horn by some five minutes. Ryno Owen rounded out the podium.

Biggs won the women’s race in 3:05:58, finishing ahead of Michelle Powell and Kim van Kets.
Shaine Webber (1:37:22) and Hayley McLoughlin (2:00:10) were the respective winners in the 35km race.
