Alexey Lutsenko won his second consecutive stage when he came out on top in the 192.5km third stage of the Tour of Oman in Qurayyat today.
The Astana Pro rider completed the race in 4:35:48, edging Cofidis, Solutions Credits’ Jesus Herrada by a second. CCC Team’s Greg van Avermaet rounded out the podium.

South African duo Ryan Gibbons and Jacques Janse van Rensburg, both of Dimension Data, placed 10th and 11th respectively. Gibbons is currently lying in seventh on the general classification and Janse van Rensburg 11th.
Gibbons is currently also leading in the best young rider’s classification.
Lutsenko took the race lead with a GC time of 11:37:37, 18 seconds clear of Herrada.
