South Africa’s Ryan Gibbons finished third on the 156.5km second stage of the Tour of Oman in Al Bustan today.
The Dimension Data completed the race in 4:07:22, losing out to UAE Team Emirates’ Alexander Kristoff in second. Astana Pro’s Alexey Lutsenko won the race in 4:07:19.

Kristoff retained the overall lead with a general classification time of 7:01:56, three seconds clear of Lutsenko. Gibbons is currently third on the GC, another nine seconds back.
