Lotto Soudal’s Caleb Ewan climbed to victory on stage four of the UAE Tour at Hatta Dam today.
The Australian claimed his first victory since moving to Lotto Soudal from Mitchelton-Scott and completed the 197km race in 4:27:07. He edged Trek-Segafredo’s Matteo Moschetti by two seconds after ascending the final steep and punchy climb. Jumbo-Visma’s Primoz Roglic finished third.

Roglic retained his overall lead with a general classification of 14:05:10, 21 seconds clear of world champion Alejandro Valverde.
