New Zealander Sam Gaze sprinted to victory in the 41st edition of the 109km Cape Town Cycle Tour today.
Gaze, who was last year’s runner-up, provisionally beat TEG Procycling’s Jason Oosthuizen and ProTouch’s Clint Hendricks into second and third respectively.
Gaze, a double U23 cross-country mountain bike world champion, became the first foreigner to win the race in over 10 years.
