Samantha Sanders defended her title in the women’s race after the final stage of the Sabie Xperience in Sabie, Mpumalanga, today.
Sanders, who also took the third stage honours, finished ahead of Marli van Eeden and Alexa Ogilvie in the 39km time trial.

Nohan van Tonder won the overall men’s race, as well as the final stage, beating Heine Engelbrecht and JC Nel into second and third respectively.
Arno Matthee and Mike Odendaal won the men’s team race on the day, with Yolandi Mostert and Melicia Labuschagne taking the win for the women.
The mixed team event was won by Darryl and Caitlin Thompson.
