Astana Pro’s Jakob Fuglsang soloed to victory in the 178km fifth stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico in Recanati today.
The Dane completed the race in 4:39:32, beating race leader Mitchelton-Scott’s Adam Yates by 40 seconds. Team Jumbo-Visma’s Primoz Roglic rounded out the podium.
