Team BridgeLane’s Nicholas White sprinted to victory on the 156.6km third stage of the Tour de Taiwan in Shigang today.
The Australian completed the race in 3:49:03, beating Taiwan’s Yuan Tang Peng and Nippo Vini Fantini Faizanè’s Giovanni Lonardi to the line.

Marc Pritzen was the highest-placed South Africa, finishing 15th in the final bunch sprint. He was closely followed home by compatriot Gustav Basson in 16th.
Giovanni moved into the overall lead with a time of 8:19:39, milliseconds clear of White, who moved up three places.
