Deon Brenner took victory in the men’s race on stage one of the Cederberg 100 Miler in Cederberg, Western Cape, today.
He completed the 77km event in 3:40:48, beating Niel Michau (3:50:16) and Dawid Bucklow (4:05:40).

Gina Wills led the women’s race home when she finished in 3:57:47. She was followed by Cheryl Bucklow (4:11:40) and Ilse Nel (4:28:22).
