Bradley Potgieter won the opening stage of the Cradle Mountain Trophy at Maropeng in The Cradle of Humankind today.
He completed the 75km event in 3:04:13, beating Ruan Pieterse (3:11:47) and Khutso Tlou (3:16:08) to the finish.

Estie Potgieter claimed victory in the women’s race in 3:55:34. She was followed home by Yvonne Prinsloo (4:01:12) and Kirstin Desiree Cooney (4:01:19).
