Jon Kirkman claimed a record time after winning the X-Berg Challenge Extreme race that finished in Drakensberg on March 23.
He finished in 24 hours and 43 minutes after cycling 297km, which was a new record for solo cyclists on this route.
Justin Armstrong and Peter Joughin, who participated as a team, were second in the mountain biking category, as well as overall.
Andre Dempers placed third in the category, with Licarmi Smith fourth.
In the X-Berg Mini race, first place was awarded to Hendrik van Zyl, who participated in multiple disciplines.
Mountain bikers, paragliders and trail runners had to choose their own routes to reach turning points and supply stops.
