Steven van Heerden and Maroesjka Matthee won the elite men’s and women’s omnium titles on day six of the SA National Track Championships at the Bellville Velodrome in the Western Cape yesterday.
Nolan Hoffman placed second in the men’s race, with George Perrins third.

Matthee was joined on the podium by Adelia Neethling and Danielle van Niekerk, who finished second and third respectively.
The junior men’s race was won by Tiano da Silva, with Andrea de Waal claiming victory in the women’s event.
Chanton Perrins won the U17 boys’ race. The masters men’s race was won by Martin van Wyk.
