Micheal Lambrechts won the men’s feature event at the Gravel Travel MTB race in Wellington, Western Cape, today.
He finished the 50km race in 2:12:55 ahead of James Tennant and Jurgens Uys.
The women’s title went to Courteney Webb when she completed the event in 2:12:55. Louise Bezuidenhout came second, followed by Sune Henning.
Morne Immelman (1:07:38) secured the honours in the 25km men’s race. He was followed by Rewalton Daniels (1:08:12) and Alex van der Walt (1:09:31).

Nichol Jordaan (1:10:222) won the inaugural 40km Gravel Ride while Alexander Parsons (1:10:29) and Ryan Lenferna (1:10:41) rounded out the podium.
The women’s event was won by Lene du Bois (1:22:17). She beat Cheryl Bucklow (1:22:34) and Kate Whitehead (1:32:14) to the finish.
