South African Pieter du Preez finished sixth in the men’s H1 time-trial at the Para-cycling Road World Cup in Ostend, Belgium, yesterday.
The 18km race was won by Belgium’s Maxime Hordies, with Finland’s Harri Sopanen second. Czech Republic’s Patrik Jahoda completed the podium.
Austria’s Ernst Bachmaier finished fourth, with Switzerland’s Benjamin Fruh fifth.
