Samuele Battistella won the Tour de Limpopo after stage four Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane today.
The Italian completed the tour in 11:38:44 to beat South Africans Kent Main (11:38:44) and Connor Brown (11:39:07).
Dylan Girdlestone, also from South Africa, finished fourth (11:39:20) with fellow countryman Steven van Heerden (11:41:08) placing fifth overall.
The 116km stage was won by SA’s Clint Hendricks in 2:51:41. He finished ahead of compatriots HB Kruger (2:51:41) and Jason Oosthuizen (2:51:41).
Fourth was Alexander Worsdale (South Africa) in 2:51:43, followed by Girdlestone (2:51:43).
