Tiano Da Silva won the U19 men’s road race at the SA Junior & Youth National Championships in Westville, KwaZulu-Natal, today.
Da Silva, who also claimed victory in the opening day’s time-trial, won in a time of 3:05:38.
Christiaan Klopper came second (3:06:01), with Dian Fritz (3:07:11) completing the podium.
The women’s 80km event was won by Frances Janse van Rensburg (2:33:15), who also won the time-trial.
Kelsey Jade van Schoor placed second (2:33:48), with Jone van Eeden third (2:38:51).
