Frenchman Christophe Laporte won the prologue on the opening day of the Tour de Luxembourg in Luxembourg Ville yesterday.
The Cofidis, Solutions Credits rider completed the 2.1km route in 3:14. Marcel Meisen (Corendon-Circus) placed second, with Piet Allegaert (Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise) third.
Laporte also leads the general classification, with Meisen second and Allegaert third.
