Jesus Herrada took the overall race lead on stage three of the Tour de Luxembourg in Diekirch yesterday.
The Cofidis, Solutions Credits rider also won the 178.7km stage, which started in Mondorf-les-Bains, in a time of 4:30:47.
Maurits Lammertink (Roompot-Charles) crossed the line three seconds later to claim second position, with Anthony Turgis (Total Direct Energie) completing the podium.
Frenchman Christophe Laporte, who topped the general classification since the opening prologue, had to abandon the race due to illness.
