Italian cyclist Elia Viviani sprinted to victory on stage four of the Tour de France that finished in Nancy today.
Alexander Kristoff (UAE Team Emirates) placed second on the 213.5km stage that started in Reims, with Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal) completing the podium.
Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) claimed fourth place, with Dylan Groenewegen (Team Jumbo-Visma) fifth.
“It means a lot. Probably I can’t believe it still. It was a big goal of the year. We missed the first chance and put the yellow on. But I think after Julian’s phenomenal ride yesterday, it’s a moment when you switch on the team,” said Viviani.
Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-QuickStep) managed to hold on to the overall lead, with Wout van Aert (Team Jumbo-Visma) second on the GC and Steven Kruijswijk (Team Jumbo-Visma) third.
