Colombian Egan Bernal became the new leader at this year’s Tour de France on a shortened stage 19 that finished in Tignes today.
The 22-year-old Ineos rider took the yellow jersey from Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-Quick-Step) with two stages remaining.
Defending champion and Bernal’s teammate Geraint Thomas placed third overall.
The 126.5km stage was neutralised with the times on the general classification given at the summit of the l’Iseran climb.
