South Africa’s Greg Minnaar finish sixth in the elite men’s downhill qualifying round at the UCI MTB World Cup in Les Gets, France, yesterday.
Frenchman Amaury Pierron won the race ahead of compatriot Loic Bruni and Australian Troy Brosnan.
Australia’s Tracey Hannah led the women’s race home to beat Marine Cabirou and Mariana Salazar.
The junior men’s event was won by France’s Thibaut Daprela. He was followed by Canada’s Seth Sherlock and New Zeeland’s Sam Gale.
