Henrique Avancini and Jolanda Neff were the respective winners of the elite cross-country short circuit at the UCI MTB World Cup in Vallnord, Andorra, yesterday.
Avancini claimed a winning time of 21:07, with Nino Schurter second (21:08) and Maxime Marotte third (21:08).
South African Alan Hatherly placed 23rd (21:47).
Neff won the women’s race in 22:40, while Alessandra Keller finished second (22:41) and Kate Courtney third (22:41).
SA’s Mariske Strauss and Candice Lill placed 20th and 23rd respectively.
