Loic Bruni and Rachel Atherton were the respective winners of the elite downhill race at the UCI MTB World Cup in Vallnord, Andorra, today.
Loris Vergier placed second in the men’s race, with Troy Brosnan completing the podium. Amaury Pierron and Danny Hart came in fourth and fifth respectively.
South African Greg Minnaar placed 11th.
Marine Cabirou was the runner-up in the women’s event, with Tracey Hannah third. Emilie Siegenthaler placed fourth, while Eleonora Farina rounded out the top five.
