Defending champions Andrew Hill and Warren Price won the opening stage of the Wild Ride that finished at the Kob Inn Hotel in Willowvale on Sunday.
The duo completed the 50km mountain bike ride in 2:26:53, beating Ernest Welch and Rory Attridge into second. Graham Monteith and Brandon Peter Smith completed the podium.
The women’s event was won by Norma Salmon and Kim Brearley.
Craig and Christine Woods claimed victory in the mixed team race, with Errol and Elmarie Thole second. Third place went to Paris Basson and Christina du Plessis.
