South African Maroesjka Matthee won the women’s road race at the African Games in Morocco today.
Matthee completed the 65km race in 1:45:15, with Mauritian Aurelie Halbwachs second and Namibian Vera Adrian third.
Zimbabwean Skye Davidson crossed the line in fourth, with Eritrean Desiet Tekeste completing the top five.
