Mathieu van der Poel won stage four of the Tour of Britain and took the overall race lead in Kendal yesterday.
The Dutchman completed the 173.2km stage in 4:23:08.
Lotto Soudal’s Jasper De Buyst finished three second later, with EF Education First’s Simon Clarke third.
Fourth place went to Ineos’s Ben Swift, while Jumbo-Visma’s Amund Grøndahl Jansen placed fifth.
