Colombian Hector Leonardo Paez Leon won the elite men’s race at the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships in Grachen, Switzerland, today.
Czech Republic’s Kristian Hynek and Italy’s Samuele Porro placed second and third respectively.
Fourth place went to Russia’s Alexey Medvedev, with Spain’s David Valero Serrano fifth.
SA’s Matthys Beukes finished 17th, while Philip Buys placed 30th.
