Kye A’Hern and Valentine Holl won the respective junior men’s and women’s races at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada, yesterday.
In the junior men’s race, the Australian beat France’s Antoine Vidal into second. New Zealand’s Tuhoto-Ariki Pene claimed third.
In the women’s event, Norway’s Mille Johnset placed second, with America’s Anna Newkirk completing the podium.
South Africa’s Sabine Thies finished ninth.
