Loic Bruni dropped down the mountain to win his third UCI DHI MTB World Championships title in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada, today.
The Frenchman was the last to start his run and was able to bump Australia’s Troy Brosnan from the top of the leaderboard by just under a second. Another Frenchman, Amaury Pierron, placed third.
South Africa’s three-time former champion Greg Minaar, who sat in the hot seat with four riders to go, finished fifth.
