Nicol Carstens and Yolande de Villiers successfully defended their titles in the 85km events at the 7weekspoort MTB Challenge in Amalienstein today.
Carstens won the 85km race in 2:52:04, with Marco Joubert second and Robert Jankielsohn third.
In the women’s race, De Villiers crossed the line in 3:15:28. Natasha Stoop and Nita van Rensburg finished second and third.
The 43km events were won by Tristan Nortje and Teresa Bester.
