Gert Heyns and Arno du Toit won the second stage of the Eselfontein Mountain Bike Stage Race in Ceres, Western Cape, yesterday.
Johan van Zyl and Tristan Nortje placed second, with Nicol Carstens and Marco Joubert third.
The mixed team winners were Katie Lennard and James Tennant, who beat Hayley Preen and Andrew Reaper into second. Third went to Kylie Hanekom and Nicholas Webb.
Andreas Studer finished first in the solo men’s race, while Hanlie Booyens won the women’s event.
