Thomas River MTB Challenge results: Jason Peach claims dominant win

Jason Peach claimed a dominant win in the 60km race at the Thomas River MTB Challenge in Cathcart at the weekend.

Peach, who placed second last year, finished just under seven minutes ahead of Paul Steyn. EJ Molentze completed the podium.

The women’s event was won by Lara-Ann van de Venter, who beat Nina Chambers and Liz Russell into second and third respectively.

Jason Millar and Anine Koch were the 40km men’s and women’s winners.
