South Africa’s Clint Hendricks placed third on stage one of the Tour of Iran in Jolfa, Iran, today.
The 148.3km opening stage was won by Alexandr Smirnov, with Youcef Reguigui second.
Smirnov also took the overall lead, while Reguigui placed second and Mohammad Ganjkhanlou third.
