Brand du Plessis sealed the men’s victory of the 64km race at the Tour de Farm mountain bike event in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, today.
Shaun-Nick Bester took second with Andre Potgieter in third.
The women’s event was won by Lizle Pretorius. She was followed by Thiesa Janse van Rensburg and Estelle Gous.
Johan Abraham du Plessis led the 35km men’s race home, betaing Bertie Anderson and Pressmore Mu Dhlamini to the finish line.
Bernice van Wyk was the first woman to finish, while Lenka Labuschagne and Wilmarie du Plessis rounded out the podium.
