Alan Gordon soloed to victory in the 70km men’s event at the Insect Science Classic in Haenertsburg, Limpopo, today.
CP van Wyk finished just over four minutes later to take second, while Rory Button, almost eight minutes back, came third.
Sarah Hill won the women’s event when she beat Sanevey Scriven by nearly one hour. Third went to Dorothy Rood.
The 35km men’s event saw Armand Cronje pip Oawie Grobbelaar by a second. Tyrone Anders followed in third after he finished two seconds later.
Retha Beukes claimed the women’s honours ahead of Amilia Goosen and Jane de la Port.
