WP association confers awards on top road and track riders

The top road and track riders in the province received awards at a Western Province Cycling Association dinner at Cape Sun, Cape Town, on November 1.

The respective elite winners for road were Nicholas Dlamini and Liezel Jordaan. Stefan de Bod, Byron Munton and Greg de Vink were the U23 winners.

Jean Smith, Reinhardt Marais, Bernard Esterhuizen and Carl Bonthuys were the winners in the elite men’s track category, while Maroesjka Matthee claimed victory in the women’s category.
