Tropicale Amissa Bongo stage six results & GC: Biniyam Ghirmay achieves second victory

It was a good day on the course of stage six of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo for Biniyam Ghirmay as he managed to claim his second victory of the event in Port Gentil, Gabon, today.

Ghirmay, who rides for Nippo Delko One Provence, finished the 130km stage in 2:47:39, followed by Yacine Hamza (Algeria) in second and Attilio Viviani (Cofidis, Solutions Crédits) in third.

The first South African to cross the finish line was Gustav Basson (ProTouch) who came ninth.
