99er Cycle Tour results: Craig Boyes claims fourth title

Craig Boyes narrowly claimed his fourth victory at the 99er Cycle Tour, which took place at the Durbanville Race Course in Cape Town today.

Boyes completed the race in 2:29:34, six seconds ahead of Bizaye Redae with Matthew Fortuin completing the podium.

In the women’s race Trhas Tesfay finished first ahead of Anriette Schoeman and Lucy James in a very closely contested sprint which finished on top of a steep 400m incline.

Willie van Heerden secured victory in the 57km men’s race, followed by Ruan Badenhorst and Jordan September who finished second and third respectively.

The 57km women’s race was won by Melinda Beetge, with Marzahn Theart coming home in second and Amber Hindmarch third.
