A Good Samaritan came to the aid of a Cape Town cyclist who was attacked by two men who robbed him of his cellphone and bicycle on the cycle route from Melkbosstrand to Table View on Sunday morning.
The cyclist was in shock and could not tell exactly where the incident occurred, according to the Stay Wider of the Rider Facebook page.
His bike was thrown into a nearby taxi.
Deon Smit, who lives in Table View, dropped the traumatised cyclist off at home. “He was very shaken up and could not give many details.”
