Francois Vernooy and JN Smit were the winners of the men’s mountain bike race at The Karoo Burn, which finished in Ceres last night.
Christiaan Janse van Rensburg and Johann de Wet placed second, with Chris van Zyl and Sean Viljoen third.
The MTB women’s team winners were Jana von Backstrom and Wilmien Chamberlain. Second place went to Bianca and Cally Silberbauer.
Bianca Cooper and Abraham Christoffel Swanepoel were the mixed team winners. Yolande and Henties de Villiers came second, while Leutta van der Westhuizen and Coen de Kock settled for third.
