The first stage of the 5th Tour de La Provence, which started at Chateaurenard and finished in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, kicked off yesterday with Nacer Bouhanni taking the lead.

Bouhanni, who rides for team Arkea Samsic, finished the 149.5km stage in 3:16:35. Jakub Mareczko (CCC Team) finished second, with Giacomo Nizzolo (NTT Pro Cycling) completing the podium.
