The fifth stage was won by Frans Claes, followed by Travis Barrett and Brandon Downes in second and third respectively.
Parys Edwards broke Marie de Kock’s winning streak today as she soloed to the finish line. Lucy James finished second while de Kock completed the podium.
De Kock, who has been wearing the leaders jersey since stage one, was narrowly overtaken by Edwards as the overall women’s winner by a mere second.
