Rohan Dennis won the fifth and final race in the Digital Swiss 5 virtual series last night.

The Team Ineos rider beat Nicolas Roche (Team Sunweb) by 12 seconds, with Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) finishing 37 seconds behind the winner.
“Today was a lot harder than stage one, but I had Nico chasing me and Max [Schachmann] as well and I went out quite hard and tried to hold on, but it wasn’t easy,” said Dennis, who also won the opening race.
“I was doing a lot of calculations on the final climb to see if I could take some time from Nico in the slower parts, but he just kept going.
“I measured my effort to what he was doing and just kept a little bit in the tank in case he kicked in the end.”
The final stage saw riders tackle a 36km course from Camperio to Distentis-Sedrun.
