An in-form Jason Peach rode to a comfortable victory at The Furnace MTB Festival held at the Crossways Village in East London today.
The 33-year-old East Londoner, who won the shortened Trans Elands MTB Marathon outside Port Elizabeth last weekend, finished the 60km race in 2:21:09, over three minutes ahead of Donovan O’Reilly and Mike Pedersen-Horn.
Madison Mann won the women’s race in 2:53:32, with Nina Chambers and Shale Biggs completing the podium.
